Sometimes it's hard to coordinate a brother and a sister without the applique being an animal. So, that's where a fabric similarity comes in hand!
For me, I wanted Barnes to have a truck/car and Emilyn's to be girl-ie. So, here's what I did ::
Emi's tutu can be with or without the "E". Sometimes I like to personalize things and sometimes not. Since I was going to write Barnes' name, I wanted her to have a monogram as well.
These are great, subtle chevron fabrics that can transition nicely for this weather that can't decide if it's winter or spring yet!
